Bahir Dar, 578km far from Addis Ababa which is found in Amhara region, northern part of Ethiopia. It is the third largest city in Ethiopia after Addis Ababa and Dire Dawa. Amharic is the dominant language in the city. Bahir Dar is a clean and well maintained city by African city standards. Therefore, it is one of the leading tourist destinations in Ethiopia with a variety of attractions in the nearby Lake Tana and the Blue Nile River.
